There are two sides to every story. It is the same as posting on Facebook and Instagram. Post too much and you might hurt your Lakeland Facebook and Instagram marketing. Post fewer than once or twice a day and you might hurt your engagement rate. Is there a formula to follow? Is there a fool-proof way to ensure that you won’t hurt your chances of ranking on these social media pages?
There is a limit to everything. On Twitter, you should post a maximum of 14 times per day. On Facebook, the maximum is two times a day (one in the morning and one in the evening). On Instagram, it’s roughly the same as Facebook; around two to three times a day with longer intervals in-between.
But sometimes, we cannot help it. There’s a bunch of things happening in the company that you want to share with everyone. Posting too much, however, hurts your chances of getting more followers and engaging with the right audience. Although in general, posting excessively will attract other non-followers, your present crop of followers might balk at the idea of seeing tens of your posts while they’re browsing their feeds.
Hashtag Crazy
Are you crazy about hashtags? You need to find a hashtag that fits your brand. Do not use generic ones. Although the post allows the use of at least 30 hashtags, don’t do it. They make your post look cluttered. They are unappealing to the readers and followers. And yes, you might lose followers simply because they are annoyed by your use of hashtags.
Random Posting Time
You need to know when your audience is most engaged. When are they browsing their feeds? When are they online? Once you know when they are most likely to share, comment, and like, then that’s when you should post. If you post when your audience is most active, then you will receive more engagement on that post. You might even get a shot at getting on the Instagram Explore page.
Low-quality Photos
Needless to say, social media is all about quality photos. If you are posting low-quality photos, your followers are going to skip your posts. They won’t even want to read what you said about the post because, for them, low-quality photos are a no-no. They won’t subject their eyes to such ugliness.
You need to remember the basic rules of getting more engagement on social media. It is not so complicated as what Lakeland Facebook and Instagram marketing wants is for you to post good quality photos and to post them at the right time.
